Welcome to V-Invoice ("we", "our", or "us"). V-Invoice is a professional invoice and quotation management application for Android and iOS devices.
This Privacy Policy describes how V-Invoice handles information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Our core design principle is local-first, offline-first privacy. Your business data belongs to you and only you.
V-Invoice does not collect any personal information. The App operates entirely offline and does not communicate with any external server, cloud service, or remote database.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, analytics, machine learning, or any purpose beyond operating the App on your device.
The App may request the following Android/iOS permissions. All permissions are used exclusively for local on-device functionality and are never used to transmit data externally.

All App data is stored using React Native AsyncStorage, which maps to the device's internal sandboxed storage. This data:
We strongly recommend enabling device screen lock and encryption on your phone to ensure maximum protection of your financial data.
We have no access to your data at any time. If you lose your device without a backup, your data cannot be recovered by us.
V-Invoice uses open-source libraries to provide its features. None of these components collect user data or communicate with external analytics or advertising servers.
We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, Facebook SDK, or any other third-party analytics or tracking libraries.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your data with any third party.
When you use the "Share as PDF" or "Send Reminder" features, you initiate the action through your device's native share sheet. The PDF or message is sent to the app of your choice (e.g., WhatsApp, Gmail). V-Invoice has no control over or access to the receiving application and does not log what was shared or to whom.
The only scenario where your data could leave your device is when you explicitly choose to share or export it (e.g., sending a PDF via WhatsApp, or saving a backup to cloud storage). These actions are initiated by you and under your full control.
V-Invoice provides an optional Export Backup feature that saves all your data as a JSON file to your device's Downloads/V-Invoice/ folder. This file:
You are solely responsible for the security and storage of your backup files once they leave the App's local storage.
V-Invoice is a professional business tool intended for users aged 13 and above. The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, there is no risk of collecting children's data either.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this App, please note that no data is transmitted to us and the data on the device is under your device's parental control settings.
Since V-Invoice stores all data locally on your device and we have no access to it, you have full and direct control over your data at all times:
Users in the EU (GDPR), California (CCPA), and other jurisdictions with data rights legislation: because we collect no personal data and operate no servers, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. All control is local and in your hands.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may display an in-app notice.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
